By accessing and using this website and purchasing tickets, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our services.

2. Ticket Purchases

2.1 General Terms

All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable
Tickets are valid only for the date and time specified
Tickets cannot be resold or transferred
Each ticket admits one person only

2.2 Pricing

All prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD)
Prices are subject to change without notice
Promotional prices are valid for a limited time only
The price at the time of purchase will be honored

2.3 E-Tickets

E-tickets will be delivered to the email address provided
You must present a valid e-ticket (printed or on mobile device) for entry
E-tickets with barcodes can only be scanned once
We are not responsible for lost or stolen e-tickets

3. Visitor Conduct

When visiting Houston Zoo, you agree to:

Follow all posted rules and regulations
Respect the animals and their habitats
Not feed animals unless in designated areas
Supervise children at all times
Not bring prohibited items into the Zoo
Follow instructions from Zoo staff

4. Photography and Recording

Personal photography and video recording are permitted for non-commercial purposes. Commercial photography requires prior written permission from Houston Zoo.

5. Weather and Closures

The Zoo may close or limit access due to inclement weather or other circumstances
No refunds will be provided for weather-related closures
Guests may be eligible to reschedule their visit in case of Zoo closure

6. Liability

Houston Zoo is not responsible for:

Personal injury or property damage occurring on Zoo premises
Lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings
Changes to exhibits or animal availability
Acts of nature or circumstances beyond our control

7. Age Requirements

Children under 2 years are admitted free of charge
Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult (18+)
Valid photo ID may be required for discounted tickets

8. Membership Terms

Annual memberships:

Are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
Are non-refundable and non-transferable
Provide unlimited admission during regular Zoo hours
May not include special events or separately ticketed experiences

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Houston Zoo and protected by copyright laws.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this website.
